13X Molecular Sieve
The 13X molecular sieve also known as zeolite 13X desiccant, is often utilized in drying water, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.
It can absorb di-n-butylamine (not tri-n-butylamine), and can be utilized in drying HMPA.
While absorbing, this zeolite 13X desiccant takes in SF6, CHCL3, CHBr3, CHI3, N-C3F8, CCL4, N-C4F10, N-C7H16, CBr4, C6H6, B5H10, (CH3)3N, C(CH4)4, (C2H5)3N, C(CH3)C3CL, C(CH3)3Br, and C(CH3)3CH in the high-to-slow speed sequence.

1.The 13X molecular sieve will be useful in gas drying and purification.
2.The 13X zeolite can be used in the desulphurization of liquid hydrocarbons and natural gas.
3.It can be utilized in air refining to remove CO2 and H2O.
4.According to the patented Zeochem technology, it can be used to remove mercaptans and hydrogen sulphide from natural gases, hydrocarbon liquid streams, such as LPG, butane, propane, etc.
5.This 13X molecular sieve can also be utilized in oxygen PSA (pressure swing adsorption) process and special double glass (removing solvent and grease).
This 13X molecular sieve can be regenerated through evacuating or purging under high temperatures. The purge gas temperature should be high enough to heat this molecular sieve to temperatures from 250°C to 300°C. and the properly regenerated molecular sieve can produce dew points below -100°C, mercaptans and CO2 levels <2 ppmv
1.The 13X molecular sieve should be preserved under room temperature.
2.Water, acid, alkali ought to be avoided.
3.Air isolation is necessary.
4.Immediate sealing is quite necessary once this zeolite 13X desiccant is filled.
